The Applied Physics Laboratory Ice Station (APLIS) has occurred every 2 to 4 years since 1978. In 2007, APLIS will be one of the first events of the International Polar Year (March 2007-March 2009). More information on the ice camp is available throughout this website, at the Arctic Research Center website, and at the Polar Year website.
